The publishers of the Eights Week programme want to include SAD predictions this year but their print deadline is Friday.

So I'll be running Iteration#2 on Friday morning with whatever I've received by then. I would encourage everyone contemplating submitting SAD estimates to send something to me before then - you can always submit new/revised scores at a later date which will be incorporated into subsequent iterations.

Clicking on the crew names on the SAD web-page now shows the

Another dozen or so updates added since yesterday (click on crew names to see the effect of these) http://www.atm.ox.ac.uk/rowing/sad.html

But estimates received so far are predominantly for men's crews - I'd like more estimates for women's crews.

4th Iteration now complete.
http://www.atm.ox.ac.uk/rowing/sad.html

5th and last iteration will be run on the Wednesday morning before Eights with everything I've received until then.

Clicking on the individual crews will show latest updates to scores since iteration#4 even though new predictions won't be re-run until Iteration#5.

Final SAD iterations are up, showing the evolution of the score according to SAD BaStaRD as each day's results came in.

Final iteration shows best estimates of each crews score and where they should have finished up. St Hilda's women seemed to have had the 'most unlikely' week (only a 7% chance of finishing where they did), but in general the women's divisions were better behaved than the men's divisions.

'PR' was the most accurate contributor, and 'DM' the most accurate of those who contributed more than 10 scores. 'AD' was the worst, although that should at least prove that the results aren't being fiddled.
