| St Catherine's College Boat Club are looking to recruit a dedicated coach to train both its 1st VIII teams for at least the 2010-11 academic year. Our first boats hold very high positions on the river; the women are seeking to expand their numbers and reclaim their headship, and the men are aiming to build upon last year's success, supported by a large number of returning oarsmen. The successful applicant should be willing to coach 6-8 outings per week; most of which will be weekday mornings and weekend afternoons. They must be flexible enough to deal with outing cancellations due to river conditions and the need to train more frequently when races are drawing near. They will also be expected to liaise with the Captains with regards to collective and individual performance. A competitive wage will be offered, and the Committee will be on hand to provide practical support.
