SABC are seeking a an experienced coach to push a large senior squad to achieve their potential and to develop a good novice programme. We want a coach who can help develop technique and fitness but can also motivate both experienced and inexperienced rowers to achieve focus and commitment in their training. The 1st VIII are looking to make serious progress in Division II in Torpids and Eights, and the 2nd VIII have similar ambitions.

The senior squad will be training 2 – 3 times per week during Michaelmas with aim to competing in an external competition early next year and will train 3 - 4 times per week during Hilary and Trinity terms.
The novice squad will be training 3 – 4 times per week during Michaelmas term.
The coach would be expected to attend some novice and some senior outings in Michaelmas and most senior outings for the remainder of the year, these will be almost exclusively mornings and weekends.

Water training will take place on the Isis or Godstow and land training mainly at St Anne’s College. Ability to drive a launch would be useful.

A competitive salary will be offered based on experience.
