St Hugh’s College is looking for a new coach for W1 for the academic year 2010-11. Following a hugely successful Torpids and Eights campain, both earning us secure postions in Division 2, we need a motivated individual who will help move us onwards and upwards.

We believe that coaching stability is key to the development of this enthusiastic club, so we would prefer applicants able to commit to taking us through the whole upcoming year. We are also looking particularly for experienced individuals willing to coach incoming novices in Michaelmas term as well as working with the senior rowers from previous years.

Payment is very competitive, and times will be flexible. We are a small but very friendly club with a long history and plenty of resources at our disposal. As well as outings available both at Godstow and on the Isis, our college gym also offers 6 recently installed Concept 2 Model E ergs, allowing us to move our training to the next level.

If you are interested in applying or have any further questions, please email shbc-womenscaptain@hotmail.co.uk, or katie.draper@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk.

Deadlines for applications will close on the 9th September and we will be holding trial outings shortly after.
