Worcester College is looking for a new W1 coach for the coming academic year.

Worcester W1 enjoyed a highly successful year in 2009-2010, climbing a total of 12 places during Torpids and Summer VIIIs to become double blade winners, whilst also performing well at a number of external regattas. These achievements were backed up by similarly successful results from W2. With almost everyone from the two crews returning for 2010-2011 we are hopeful of continuing success this year.

We are therefore seeking an experienced and motivated coach to work with, and develop, our strong senior squad. We expect to be training around 4-5 times per week, with a further 2-3 land training sessions taking place within college. Water outings usually take place in the morning or at weekends, and our boat is racked at Godstow. In order to provide the stability and continuity which we feel is key to continuing success we are ideally looking for someone who would be able to commit to the position for a whole year, however we would welcome applications from anyone who feels they have relevant experience and are interested in the job.
