Balliol College Boat Club is looking for a Men's Head Coach for the 2016/2017 academic year. We are in the 1st Division of Torpids and Eights, and we have over 20 returning rowers who are eager to train seriously.

We are looking for someone who is capable of designing and executing a year-long training program for experienced rowers and novices. We want an ambitious, enthusiastic coach with the technical experience to take our squad to the next level.

This is a paid part-time position, for 15-20 hours per week during Oxford terms. We are looking for:
- 10 90-minute sessions a week, mostly during weekday mornings
- At least one of those sessions during the weekend
- At least one land-training session a week.
All training takes place during Oxford term time.

Our Michaelmas priority is training a very promising incoming novice crew. We won ChCh Regatta 2015 and 2013 and reached finals in 2014. With strong novice help two of our four boats won blades last year, and one even attempted to finish Eights in less than 100 strokes (which they just narrowly missed.)

Candidates should be able to drive a motor launch. Extra pay is available for training camps, one of which will be abroad.
