*** Green Templeton College Boat Club - Menís Head Coach Vacancy ***

Green Templeton College Boat Club (Oxford) are seeking a new MENíS HEAD COACH to start immediately. The main responsibility is to train and select the menís boats (M1 and M2/3) throughout the coming year.

As an inclusive and supportive yet competitive club, M1 are currently in Div 3 in Torpids and Div 4 in Summer Eights, having worked our way up consistently over the last years.
For the coming season, we are looking to field a strong M1 and a more inclusive M2/3. We also plan to compete in external regattas.
The club is well-resourced with a well-equipped boathouse, an up to date fleet of boats and a college gym with a full set of ergometers, sliders and weights.
With graduate club status, our water sessions take place on the Isis both pre- and post-8am.

Availability for full academic year until summer 2019
At least 4-6 water sessions per week (mornings before 9AM, evenings after 5PM, and in the weekend)
As we have rowers with a wide range of experience, ability to coach both novices and very experienced rowers
Ability to develop training plans both on and off water
Good communication skills
Previous coaching experience necessary
Evidence of successes as coach is desirable
Availability to go on winter and spring training camp is also desirable

As a graduate club, we have a 12 months rowing season.
Michaelmas: Main focus on novices and external regattas for M1.
Hilary: Building M1 and M2 for Torpids and and a boat for a Head Race (HoRR)
Trinity: Prepare for Summer Eights and external regattas.
Summer: Train for and participate in external regattas.

The role offers a competitive salary, depending on coaching experience.
