Green Templeton is the youngest Oxford college and, although only two years old, its boat club is expanding rapidly. Our College comprises entirely of graduate students and offers an immense deal of recruiting potential.

Over the last two years the College has been home to several Lightweights, Blues and international rowers. Our Boat Club performed well in Torpids and Summer Eights this year, providing a fantastic platform from which to progress in the upcoming season.

Right now we’re looking to hire two coaches - one for the men’s squad and one for the women’s squad - to help us move forward. Both positions will, in all likelihood, run from September 2010 to August 2011 and each coach will manage two crews of eight. As a club, we plan to row throughout the summer and, where possible, take part in external regattas.

Specifically, we are looking to hire two part-time coaches who are professional, committed to high quality rowing, easy to work with, enthusiastic and hungry for success. Owing to the time commitment required, the position is well-suited to a person that is, or will be, living in Oxford for the majority of the coaching period.

More details about the position are contained in a PDF advertisement, which may also be downloaded from the following address: http://www.gtbc.org.uk/GTBC-CoachAdvert.pdf.

Interested applicants may send a one-page rowing, coxing or coaching CV through to the current club president, Andrew Symington, at president@gtbc.org.uk.
