Wolfson M2 (?) this morning

| An interesting interpretation of the rules from Wolfson's M2 coach and cox this morning. Having presumably spun at Longbridges, the crew were waiting right in the mouth of the Gut, obstructing the exit for any others. After a narrowly avoided collision with St Hugh's W2 coming out of the Gut, their coach carried on undisturbed in his explanation, with no sign of courtesy or, perhaps, concern for his own crew and everyone else. A few good minutes later, Wolfson M2 were on the wrong side of the river, about to plough into a New College crew. Some dangerous coxing and equally incompetent coaching. Just to clarify, this refers to the Wolfson crew out under St Cross colours earlier this morning. As far as I could see, the crew out later in the same boat thankfully benefited from having a competent cox and coach. | |
