| Due to shortage (no pun intended) of coxes at Jesus, our M3 are looking for a cox to join them for their Summer Eights Campaign. They are an enthusiastic bunch, ranging from 2 ex-1st VIII members to some returning novices, but nearly all have 2 full terms of rowing experience. They plan to train on Saturday late morning (11am) and Thursday afternoon. They will be rowing on to qualify, altho the majority of the squad rowed on in Torpids and finished up 1 overall despite racing more times than we trained last term! If you are a newly registered novice cox at a college with all the coxing positions taken, or an experienced cox looking for something with a light training schedule then please get in touch. Coaching will given by a mixture of 1st VIII rowers and myself (M1 cox), so there is the opportunity to actually get some coaching yourselves during outings (something I have never had the luxury of experiencing!).
