Dear all,

Sorry for the lack of email updates regarding the ice.

For the latest updates, please check the big red box on the OURCs front
page.

*What to expect*

I'm going to pass the river at 7 tomorrow, and Sahil at 830. We'll discuss,
but it's highly likely that it'll remain red flag due to ice.

Although the ice broke up a fair bit today, it still didn't disappear and
there were still a few odd panes of ice floating around Longbridges at 6
this evening.

It is likely that a decision will be made with regards to IWL D tomorrow
evening in consultation with the SUs. However, it is also possible that a
decision will be delayed until Sunday morning.

We'll consider several options. I think that it will be highly likely that
we will not be able to run all 102 boats for IWL. On the grounds of safety,
if you wish to remove yourself from IWL, request to scratch from the online
entries system. Irrespective of what happens on Sunday, *we will 100%
refund any entries that you scratch*.

Apart from that, keep monitoring your inboxes and the front page for
further updates.

Best,

Phil McCullough
OURCs Secretary
