Dear all,

Congratulations on a day of klaxon-free racing. You made the SUs very happy
indeed.

*Thursday in Videos
*Videos, taken by Bernard, of today's racing from his position in the
little alcove at Top Gut are available on our YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/ourcs

*Thursday in Pictures - new!*
Thanks to Lucinda, one of our helpers today, we have a large number of
photos from today's racing. I've selected the most entertaining 50 or so
and put them on photobucket:

Bumps, crabs, concessions, pain-faces, and incredible fundraising haircuts
await.
You're free to use these to promote your own boat clubs, but please credit
us where reasonable - don't pass them off as your own.

Commercial photographers, such as Jet Photographic and BigBlade Photography
also have (more and better) pictures of individual crews on their website:

*Friday's Draw*
Is available on the Torpids home-page.

*And Finally...*
We have recovered a bow-ball, and a small chunk of bow, that was wedged in
between two trees at Top Gut.

The impact was enough to disform the rubber and actually let the bow pierce
through the rubber. If you ever wonder why we stipulate that the bow ball
isn't just fastened on with tape, this is why:

Yes, that is part of the boat sticking out of the bow ball.

Good luck everyone for tomorrow's racing!
