A Message from the SUs:

Dear all,

A good day's racing overall. The first two of today's points to note are
ones which RQ raised yesterday. Please let's get them right for tomorrow.

Circulation pattern on your way down to the start - by the time you come
under Donnington Bridge you should be on the towpath/bowside/right hand
side of the river. Please remind all your coxes of this.

Rowing home after racing - crews who have bumped out early must still go to
the Head to spin. Do not cut across the river to boat house island early.
You disrupt crews pushing off and warming up for the next division. Again,
remind your coxes.

Please could marshals allow extra time to get to race desk for the start of
their marshalling slot. The crowded towpath has caused some delays.

Tomorrow's sun will be stronger than today's, but a breeze will make things
feel much cooler. Don't be fooled into thinking you don't need sun cream,
particularly around the sun-reflecting water, and, with this in mind, would
crews who have previously gone topless please keep tops on for warm up and
racing.

One last thing - do buy the very excellent Eights Programme. Available from
race desk and roving sellers for 3. All proceeds to OUWLRC. If you would
like to help your college make some money, please get in touch and it can
be arranged.

Good luck for tomorrow's racing.

Laura Dance for the SUs.

A quick addition from Sahil:

Please can bankriders remember that they should not impede umpires where
possible. As vital as the bankrider is to their crew, the umpires are more
important to the crew's success.
