OURCs Committee
Secretary- Phil McCullough (St Catherine's)
Position:
The OURCs Secretary heads up the OURCs Committee and takes overall
responsibility for OURCs operations and events, aided by the committee.
Contact about:
Regatta questions - the Sec will normally be the Race Sec for our regattas and so entry questions and draw queries
General organisation queries from possible rule changes, things we could be doing better or differently.
Personal:
Phil is a 4th year chemist who was the Men's Captain at Catz in 2009/10. He is mainly involved with the men's second VIII, which is in the dizzying heights of Division 5. He joined OURCs in 2010 and can often be heard giving mediocre commentary over the tannoy.
Sabbatical Officer- Sahil Sinha (St Hilda's)
Position:
The Rowing Sabbatical Officer (RowSab) provides administrative support for all members of OURCs, and acts as safety adviser for college and university rowing. The RowSab post is usually taken by a recent student. Applications will be invited in February-March and shortlisted by an interview with COUR members in April, before being voted on at a captains' meeting early in Trinity term.

Personal:
Sahil graduated in 2011, having joined the OURCs committee in 2009 as an ordinary member, but stepped in as acting treasurer for Hilary Term. He was elected Treasurer for the 2010/11 academic year.
Treasurer- Jonathan Ross (Pembroke)
Position:
The Treasurer is in charge of the finances of OURCs and is in charge of the fine system. Fine appeals should be directed to the treasurer.

Jonathan is a 1st year DPhil Student at Pembroke. He was previously at Oxford from 2006 to 2010, racing for Pembroke M1. A year away from Oxford attempting to become an accountant has given him the necessary experience for the job.
Captain of Coxes- Matt Maton-Howarth (Christ Church)
Position:
The Captain of Coxes is in charge of all things coxing within the University. They should be contacted with regards to coxing upgrades. The Captain of Coxes can be reached via email at captainofcoxes@gmail.com.

Personal:
Matt is a first year clinical medic at Chirst Chuch. Previously he studied for his pre-clinical medical sciences degree at Selwyn College; Cambridge where he learnt to cox. He gained the experience for the job coxing the Selwyn first men's boat over 5 terms, as well as through trialling for CULRC.
President- Alex Dix (Hertford)
Position:
The President is either the President of OUBC or OUWBC, working on alternate years. They act as the Chair at Captains' Meetings.
Internet Secretary- Chris Cooper (Linacre)
Position:
The internet secretary is responsible for the OURCs IT infrastructure. This includes operation of the website, entries system, mailing lists and general IT support for the committee on racedays. A good level of IT literacy is desirable for this position.

Senior Member- Dr. Paul Azzopardi (Worcester)
Position:
The Senior Member represents OURCs on university committees, and is a member of Congregation.
Personal:
Dr Paul Azzopardi is a fellow of Worcester College and Director of Undergraduate Studies for Psychology.

Tony is a graduate of Regent's Park where he read English. In his past life (before Oxford) he was an IT professional and entrepreneur. Tony is still generously assisting with the webmaster role.
