Coach needed for Nephtys and Christ Church winning St. Antonys Boat Club

Very sadly our wonderful novice coach Jessica has had to leave us to return to the States. We are now looking for someone to continue her amazing work and become part of a small club that is getting better and better every year. Youd be working largely with our mens and womens second and third boats, although potentially a session or two with M1 and W1 each week. We have lots of hardworking and enthusiastic novice and senior rowers who have fun on and off the water and the most incredible fans going. Have a look at this video to see what were about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRC0xGpY7GQ or this: http://www.youtube.com/user/ourcs ("About 50 people in this University care about the winner of this race....40 of them are from Antonys" ChCh final Marshall).

Youd be working morning, afternoons and/or weekends. Were incredibly flexible on working times and coaching methods. Great pay. Please send me (Womens Captain) your CV and a brief email: natasha.graham@sant.ox.ac.uk

Have a great Christmas!

Available Coaching Positions

The University College men are looking for experienced coaches for M2 and M3.

As we are a college, coaching will take up much less time over the year than a regular club but we will expect high commitment during the relatively short terms. You will be responsible for selection and training programs for a large, highly motivated group of experienced rowers. Many of these sessions would be early mornings, particularly during Hilary, and would take place on the Isis in central Oxford. The appointed coach will be offered competitive pay.

We highly value experience especially with respect to bumps races and the short but intensive college time schedule.

Written applications should be sent to the Mens Captain at james.coote@univ.ox.ac.uk.

Magdalen College Women Head Coach position

Magdalen College Women are looking for an experienced coach to conduct water outings at Radley. Expect to work with an experienced crew, including members from the past two years Headship Crews, who are determined to retain Headship in Torpids and drive up the tables in Summer VIIIs.

We have always focussed on depth in the Womens squad so any potential new coach should be willing to work with less experienced individuals as well as the more senior members.

Equipment provided, including a motorized launch - applicants should be happy to have control of a launch whilst watching a crew on a quiet stretch of water. Applicants should be registered members of British Rowing and ready to start immediately.

Please contact Lucy Treasure on Lucinda.treasure@magd.ox.ac.uk with a CV for further information, any queries are welcome.
