Abingdon is about 8 miles from Oxford Carfax, and the Club is about half a mile from the town centre. There is an excellent bus service from outside Christ Church, or its a straightforward 30 minutes steady state on a bike! The reach is about 3 km long, and much less congested than the Isis. Restrictions on boating times are minimal - currently Saturday 8:30 until 10:00 and Sunday 8:30 until 12:00 -although College crews can still boat during those times and pass through one of the locks to train.
